Learn how to use Snoopy Dog Heartbeat to monitor your dog's heart health

Getting Started with Snoopy

Snoopy Dog Heartbeat is designed to help you listen to, record, and share your dog's heartbeat using just your iPhone. This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to get great results.

What Makes Snoopy Different?

Unlike fitness trackers that only measure beats per minute, Snoopy lets you actually listen to your dog's heartbeat - just like a veterinarian uses a stethoscope. This means you can:

  • Hear irregular rhythms or abnormal sounds
  • Record and compare changes over time
  • Share high-quality recordings with your vet for remote diagnosis
  • Monitor dogs with heart murmurs or congestive heart failure (CHF)

Quick Start

  1. Download the app from the App Store (one-time purchase)
  2. Find a quiet room - background noise will interfere with recordings
  3. Have your dog lie down calmly on their right side
  4. Wet the fur around the heart area (left side, behind front leg)
  5. Remove your phone case for better contact
  6. Put on Bluetooth headphones (recommended but not required)
  7. Follow the in-app instructions to position your phone and record

What You'll Need

  • iPhone 7 or newer (iOS 13+)
  • Bluetooth headphones (recommended)
  • A calm dog
  • A quiet room
  • Patience and practice

Most dog owners get great results within 2-3 tries. Don't get discouraged if your first attempt doesn't work perfectly!
